Just a quick note to say that this week I am going to do something I have not done In a very long time. I am going to write a real pen-and-paper letter to a friend. I know she and I will both be enriched by the experience; she by the receipt of a letter in her mailbox and I by the sending. Both of us will feel a connection that is somehow lacking in electronic communication. I know it’s not Tuesday any more, and I won’t trouble you with our internet struggles this week, but the sentiment is the same. Try this.

It’s Tuesday!  Try reaching out to someone you love by putting your thoughts on paper and  slipping it into a post box. Or under their pillow.
