The End of October is Near, My Dears
Time is running out for spooky preparations, so if you love Hallowe’en and are inclined to procrastination this is for you. Pumpkins are on sale everywhere you go, and everyone has a knife in their kitchen drawer, so no excuses. It’s carving time! I am not going to give you a primer on pumpkin carving, as that can be found almost anywhere you look on-line. I am going to direct you to a site that is a favourite of mine wherein you can find any number of crafty ideas, tutorials and patterns for a seemingly endless variety of activities and seasons. I love Craftsy for their quilting ideas and patterns, and for their kits and fabrics for sale. They also have numerous contests and giveaways, and be sure to check their Free Pattern Friday. Like them on Facebook and they will remind you when they have a sale or a new product or class available. They also have a blog with a very crafty pumpkin carving lesson. Of course if you prefer, you can go with a more traditional jack o’lantern, either jolly, scary or creative.
Another wonderfully easy seasonal thing I would like to share is momcrieff.com‘s recipe for Easy Two-Ingredient Pumpkin Muffins.
All images were obtained via a google search for Jack o’lantern images free.
It’s Tuesday, Folks! Try this!
Nice Jack O’ Lanterns and the thought of Pumpkin muffins makes me hungry.
